The aim was for people to feel at ease and find comfort, not by worshipping but by touching it with their hands or talking to it.
It depicts a child with their hands pressed together in prayer in front of their face, and is meticulously crafted from carefully selected cypress wood, with every detail from the spherical shape to the facial features carved solely with a chisel.
Furthermore, a natural crystal is used between the eyebrows to represent the "urna" (byakugo), embodying the "Buddha."
